A seven member team from the International Amateur Radio Volunteers (IARV) organization made their annual visit from October 6-16th to the Sahara Desert as part of a technical aid program. They operated amateur radio with individual callsigns using the format 5T5*** as well as 5T5U. The operation was carried out mainly in the CW mode, including activity on 10 MHz band.
